Everest & Chitwan for schools & colleges
Students visiting the Kingdom will wonder at its temples and awe-inspiring scenery. This trip to both the mountains in the Khumbu Valley and the Chitwan National Park provide an opportunity to experience a wide and interesting insight into the culture of Nepal.
The Sargamatha national Park (Sargamatha is the Nepali name for Everest) is a very popular trekking destination and students will walk in the footsteps of Hillary and all who have climbed Everest from the Nepali side. No one who arrives into the Khumbu via the flight to Lukla will ever forget the experience and the trek from here through the small hamlets and villages of this fertile valley will provide lasting memories.
Our trek passes through the village of Namche Bazaar and Sherpa settlements to the monastery village at Thyangboche, with its impressive backdrop of Ama Dablam, one of the Khumbu region’s most recognisable peaks. At Thyangboche we can also admire the surrounding peaks, which include Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse. Following our trek phase we move on to the Chitwan national Park and take part in a short but non-the less exciting safari, riding elephant and searching for rhino and crocodiles.
